My wife was working for a few hours collecting ideas for the new Riad El Fenn Shop down in the ‘Industrial Quarter’. I had a couple of hours to wander and take a few snaps of some of the buildings and street scenes along the wide, busy avenues. I have put together a little slideshow using slideshowpro link for wordpress (slidepress). Still getting to grips with it and would like to add some music (any advice on how to get an itunes song to be playable as mp3 or where to get free mp3 tracks from would be greatly appreciated!
I was asked last week to take some pictures of the new Jewellery for the Lotus Club Collection. The Lotus Club is a very upmarket Club in the Hivernage area of Marrakech and the jewellery will only be available to buy from here.
It is very beautiful jewellery in a similar vain to Swarovski with lots of small sparkling ‘diamonds’. There were about a dozen pieces to shoot altogether including an amazing jewelled bra.
It was a challenge to shoot such bright jewels on moving models in the Marrakech light, but I was happy with the results.
When the catalogue is out, I will put a PDF version on here.
So, on one of the few days I have the chance to get out and take pictures it absolutely belts it down. Typical.
I am in the car with my two children, stopped for a few minutes and whilst my wife dashes in to a shop. I reach for the camera and shoot through the window.
Passing bikes, scooters, people - the world on it’s rushed way to somewhere, everywhere on this wet, grotty day.
I take a few shots of the children in the back of the car screaming of boredom and eager to distract me from my purpose. One just crying and trying to hurt my head. Succeeding.
But I manage to snatch a few of this wet, rainy grainy day in Morocco.
