Street Photography in the Medina of Marrakech
January 1, 2010 by Adrian

My camera has become a part of my body, as much as my arm, my leg and my eye. It is my eye. I see in 35mm frames.
I wander around the Medina looking for a story to tell.
An old mans slow movement through an arch.
A man on a mobile with a determined stride.
Everywhere.
The Medina of Marrakech,
The streets of Birmingham,
Some small town, village, street where you live,
Life is there.

A nice new batch of shots Adrian. I am watching regularly for your postings. You have such a talent for turning everyday life into works of craft.
Especially like the use of B&W and the gradation in the archway shots.
Did you zoom during exposure in image 0092 ? The effect gives a lovely impression of movement.
    Keep up the good work

Thank you Petrus. I love B & W, I feel it gives more soul to the picture.
0092 – I was walking quite fast whilst taking the shot at a shutter speed of 1/6 of a second.
